About this Course

Want to get your child’s feet wet while experiencing a two-week mini-session of the regular, nationally-affiliated Santa Barbara Junior Lifeguards program? This program will provide many of the same components the longer program offers including swimming, running, paddle-boarding, and marine and beach education; however, all activities will be modified based on the lower swim and age requirement for this program. Swim Test Requirements. - Nippers must be able to demonstrate all of the following skills to be able to participate: 1. 50 meter swim in 1 min 15 sec or less 2. swim underwater for 15 yards 3. tread water for at least 4 mins Swim Test: May 5th, 2 p.m at Los Banos Del Mar Swimming Pool
